No Spiritual Surrender (2017 - red, acrylic mirror mounted on wall at eye level) highlights Indigenous history of the Americas serving as a reflection of remembrance.  The mirror encompasses the viewer's reflection in a veil of red which has ambiguous references to blood, danger, death, race, etc. In conjunction with the work’s title, the piece “reflects” formally and symbolically the enduring presence of the Indigenous Peoples.
